Unlike a LinkedIn personal profile, a LinkedIn company page can have multiple administrators. Like Facebook company pages, you can add a cover photo, post status updates, and add your company website address on a LinkedIn company page. As of today, we haven’t got any inquiries from our LinkedIn company page, but if anything, having a LinkedIn company page gave us a backlink to our company website (even if it was a nofollow link). In the past, managing multiple Instagram accounts required logging out of your current Instagram account and logging in to a new Instagram account. Now, Instagram allows you to manage up to 5 accounts on its mobile app. You can manage more than that on a desktop computer if you are using Hootsuite, but publishing still needs to go through the mobile app.
Updating the hours of operation on Facebook isn’t so intuitive. We’ve been told that this blog post has been more helpful than Facebook’s page support. When we first published this blog post, you could only update the hours of operation from a computer. That’s not the case anymore.
Since I wrote this blog post, Google Plus has gone through a few changes. Google Plus is no longer used to display a business’ local listing. To manage your business’ listing on Google, you would use Google My Business instead. However, your Google My Business listing and Google Plus page are connected, so if you transfer ownership of your Google Plus Company page, then you just transferred ownership of your Google My Business listing as well…. continue reading »
