Keeping WordPress Up to Date
WordPress is the most popular CMS. You’ll want to keep the WordPress version, themes, and plugins up to date to minimize hacking attempts into your website.
To do the updates, just login to your dashboard, and click any of the circled areas to go to the Updates section.

What’s listed on here? If your version of WordPress, your plugins, or your themes aren’t up to date, it will show how here.
To update your version of WordPress, click on the blue button I have circled.
To update your themes or plugins, click on the circled checkbox sections, and click on the appropriate update button.
