Yelp is the Facebook of online business review sites. Customers leave one to five star reviews on businesses. I go to Yelp whenever I’m researching a new business, and it’s never steered me wrong. The cream always rises to the top. I’ve used them for a variety of services from eating out to getting my car brakes done to getting a haircut. The reviews are legitimate, and suspicious reviews are filtered out.
According to Crunchbase, Yelp drew in more than 50 million unique visitors last March. Wouldn’t you like to have some of that traffic? On your Yelp profile, you’re able to list your website, show your photos, and even advertise specials.
Best of all, Yelp is free to set up. If I’ve piqued your interest, then click here to create your free business account. You can create a regular account by clicking here. With a regular account, you can review other businesses you frequent. Other users can even vote on your reviews by labeling them cool, funny, or useful.
Yelp reviews show up in your Google Business Listing as well. And, no, I’m not getting paid by Yelp to advertise them 😉
